Happy 1st Birthday Baby Jessica!!! I can’t believe you are one already. Time flies so fast. You are such a beautiful and joyful little soul and you share my name, so that automatically makes you extra special 🙂 Thanks to this girl, Eden, I met your grandma Magnolia nearly 12 years ago. You are one lucky girl to have her as your grandma. When I grow up, I want to be just like her. Your grandpa, mom, dad, aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends are such wonderful people too. You have love all around you.
Eden, her mom, and “love, friend, father” Marcus have introduced me to many of my favorite Californians. I am so happy to know you all.
This is your gorgeous momma, Lorena getting ready to help some friends bust open the piñata shaped like a big #1.
These two little compadres of yours were delightful: Catherine and Lemmy. I don’t know if I spelled their names right, but I’m sure you don’t mind. That little Lemmy has the best hair I’ve ever seen on a little dude.
This photograph of Catherine reminds me of one of my brother and I when we were tiny with big cans of Coca~Cola in our hands.
Here it is, my little bro and I in about 1982 or so. It must have been right about the time they changed the logo on the can. I have the one that looks like the one that Catherine is holding above and my brother, Marcus seems to have the old style can. We had just moved into that house. It was the one I lived in until I was old enough to move out on my own.
Your princess castle jumper was a huge hit.
Your buddy, Bella who is just about 6 months older than you was scared of it at first, but nothing scares her for too long. This is her on her way in.
This little girl is also named Bella. I think she is Isabella, the other one is Arabella.
The taco’s were a huge success too! I couldn’t stop eating the quesadillas; I think I had 3 of them. The guy standing here with your daddy was the one cooking ’em up. He is getting married soon 🙂
It’s no secret that I have baby fever; I can’t wait to have one of my own. In the meantime, at parties I seem to steal the smallest baby for as long as the mom and dad will let me hold them for. At your party, I got to snuggle with little William for a good long while. He is so tiny and adorable.
I think Arabella’s mommy might have a touch of the fever too.
Both you and your sweet little cousin, Julian were asleep when I first got there. This is Julian with his mom and dad having a snack.
I didn’t get a great shot of you with your mom and dad together. My camera was still set in outdoor mode so it came out too dark and grainy, but here it is anyway.
Here are a bunch of other pics of your party. Happy 1st Birthday gorgeous girl! Much love!
